Meet the Officers
This is the 2019-2020 AIAA leaders that will guide our AIAA members to bridge their studies to the real world. Our goal is to perform our duties efficiently to ensure the success of the organization.

Daniel is a Senior Chemical Engineering student at the University of Houston. He has been involved in AIAA-UH for 2 years. His main interests include rocket propulsion, life support systems, and thermal analysis. He is the President of the AIAA University of Houston Student Branch, and as such he is responsible for managing the organization's general meetings, workshops, and activities.
Kelly is a Junior studying biomedical engineering with a minor in biology. She was involved with the Space City Rocketry team for two years and currently holds the position as Vice President. As the Vice President, she is in charge of communicating with other student organizations within UH.
Fabio Andrean is a mechanical engineering senior in his third year at the University of Houston. He has been involved in AIAA-UH, as well as Space City Rocketry for the past 2 years, including serving as Recovery System Lead for Oberon. As secretary, his duties include keeping track of membership, taking minutes at meetings, sending out newsletters, and notifying members of events and internship opportunities.
Husein is a junior accounting major in the Bauer college of business. In 2018, he was the financial officer in the UH drone sub-team. As treasurer, he is responsible for keeping track of financial activities in the organization and creating budgets for various events. Husein is excited to help AIAA become more financially organized to achieve more of their goals for the upcoming year.
Harry is a Junior Mechanical Engineering Technology student. He was a part of Space City Rocketry and Space City UAV Team, formally Space City Drone. He is currently the Public Relations Officer of AIAA-UH. His dream is to have the club, teams and the individual members to succeed. He oversees all the social media accounts of AIAA-UH.
A Junior-year Mechanical Engineering major. Alex has been in AIAA for one semester but has been involved with the hobby rocket team and building rockets for Tripoli. As the event coordinator, Alex takes charge of the organization of events to promote the Aerospace industry for the next generation of AIAA members.
Andrew is a junior mechanical engineering student. He worked on the space city rocketry payload subteam, led the payload subteam of the first UH UAV team and became involved in the professional side of AIAA. As program manager, he hopes to build a strong relationship between the project teams and the professional side of AIAA to help provide members with the best experience possible.
Jordan is a third-year Mechanical Engineering student. He joined the UH section of AIAA in Spring 2018. As the Outreach Coordinator, he helps AIAA members get connected within the aerospace industry through volunteer and networking opportunities His goal is to help students grow and network within the aerospace industry.
Jose is a construction major with an interest in aerospace. He has been involved in AIAA for two years in the Space City Rocketry team as well as the Space City drone team. Jose's goal as the historian is to document the progress of the design teams and AIAA through photography. Jose hopes to see the AIAA-UH chapter grow even more in the future.
Javier is a Junior Mechanical Engineering major with a minor in Mathematics. He has been involved with AIAA for a year through the Space City drone team. In his time in AIAA, he created models of components of a drone for simulation analysis for engineering reports. His interests include robotics, CAD and 3D printing. He takes charge of maintaining and organizing the club's website.
